Women Who Wrote the Novel

Brontë, Eliot, Wharton, Gaskell, Chopin, Gilman.

Middlemarch is regularly called the greatest English novel; Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre were written in the same parsonage; The Awakening and The Yellow Wallpaper anticipate the twentieth century by decades.
