The OpenMind Library is a digital platform that provides access to public domain and openly licensed ebooks and audiobooks. Our mission is to make knowledge freely accessible while respecting intellectual property rights.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

OpenMind indexes metadata and links to original public-domain sources. We do not claim ownership of third-party texts, audiobooks, metadata, or covers.

The Service hosts content that falls into the following categories:

• Public Domain: Works whose copyright has expired or was never applicable
• Creative Commons: Works shared under CC licenses with proper attribution
• User Submissions: Content uploaded by users after verification

Users must respect the licensing terms of each work. Attribution requirements must be followed for Creative Commons content.

5. User Contributions

When uploading content to the Service, you agree that:

• The content is in the public domain or available under an open license

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, excluding its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Austria.

For consumers within the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence shall apply to the extent they provide greater protection.
