Help us grow the library
OpenMind is built by readers, for readers. There are many ways to contribute — from uploading a single book to building new features.
Upload a BookWays to contribute
Every contribution — large or small — directly expands access to free knowledge.
Upload Books
Have a public domain ebook or audiobook not yet in our library? Upload it directly through our contributor portal. We review all submissions for licensing compliance before publishing.
Upload ContentReport Issues
Found a broken link, missing cover, or incorrect metadata? File a report and we will fix it. Every report helps keep the library clean.

Our review process ensures every book in the library is properly licensed and high quality.
Verify the License
Confirm the work is in the public domain or licensed under a Creative Commons or equivalent open license. Works published before 1928 in the US are generally safe.
Prepare Your Files
Ebooks should be in EPUB or PDF format. Audiobooks should be MP3 at 128kbps or higher. Include a cover image (JPEG, 400×600px minimum) if possible.
Fill in the Metadata
Provide title, author, year of publication, language, and a short description. Accurate metadata makes books discoverable.
Submit for Review
Our team reviews every submission within 48 hours. We check licensing, file quality, and metadata accuracy before publishing.
Content guidelines
We only accept legally free content. When in doubt, check the rights badge on any existing book.
